Thirty nine years ago in a Brisbane Hotel, a group of
'bikies' who'd been riding and building bikes together
got serious about starting a club .Some months before
they'd decided to call the club the 'Confederates' at a
meeting in Indooroopilly but there was a blue at the
pub and the meeting was never finished.At this second
historic meeting the drawings of our original colours
were chosen from several designs.Apparently the first
President,Clint Jacks,helped make the decision because
of his love of skulls and swastikas.
Some time later a chapter of the club started in
Dubbo,followed by one in Rockhampton and then Sydney
and Canberra.From these beginnings grew the biggest
outlaw motorcycle club in Australia.
The Rebels MC Australia is also the biggest all big twin
Harley-Davidson club in the world
